Its Called Durian
Widely known and revered in southeast Asia as the "king of fruits", the durian is distinctive for its large size, unique odour, and formidable thorn-covered husk.
i did some googling & it seems to be according to some bloggers who taste it before :
- It smells bad. It's hard to eat. It's unpleasant to the touch.
- Durian Fruit can best be described as having a succulent, creamy filling but smelling like stinky socks - don't let that dissuade you from trying it.
- Chef Andrew Zimmern compares the taste to "completely rotten, mushy onions."
well after reading these comments i was like hmmmmm thats why one of the hotels i stayed in was prohibited ( extremely not allowed ) to bring this fruit in lol & now i guess i wont try it :/.
If any of you had Durian before please share your experience with us !
